14th November
3pm - 5pm
Littlethorpe Village Hall
What happens when we put the singing, movement and performance together?
Find Your Stage takes things up a gear. We’ll bring together voice, dance and performance to explore what makes musical theatre come alive.
Working as an ensemble, we’ll learn a musical theatre number and explore the skills that turn a song into a performance - choreography, character, storytelling, expression and, yes, singing and moving at the same time!
We’ll break down the movement, play with how we use the space and discover how our voices, bodies and energy can work together to tell a story.
You’ll develop dance technique, vocal skills, musicality, stage presence and ensemble performance, with plenty of space to experiment, make bold choices and find your own way of performing.
You don’t need to be the strongest singer or the best dancer in the room. This is about learning how all the different pieces fit together — and what happens when a group really starts to perform as one.
Bring your voice. Bring your moves. Bring your energy.
Never done musical theatre before? Even better.
