What happens when you tell a story without saying a word?
Drama Through Dance is all about using movement to create characters, explore emotions and bring stories to life.
We'll take inspiration from musical theatre, stage, film and storytelling and then move it, change it, play with it and make it our own.
Because dance isn't just about learning the steps.
It's about what those steps can say.
Through dance, drama, improvisation and plenty of creative experimentation, we'll explore how a character moves, what they're feeling, how they connect with other people and how we can take an audience on a journey.
One minute we might be creating a huge, joyful musical number. The next, we'll be discovering how the smallest movement can completely change a moment.
You'll get the chance to create, experiment, perform, collaborate and develop your own ideas while building confidence, stage presence, storytelling and performance skills along the way.
And getting it wrong?
Absolutely allowed.
That's usually where some of the best ideas begin.
Whether you dance all the time or you've never done anything like this before, you're welcome.
